Our Commitment

At Prime Cuts Nursery we work hard to provide our customers with the highest quality products possible. We know the quality of the clones and genetics a grower starts with makes a substantial difference in the quality and yield of the final product. Growers rely on us to deliver good clones on time. We take that responsibility seriously.

Cut Orders and Deposits

Reserving clones in advance is the best way to ensure that you get the genetics you want. When we take a cut order, we typically require a 25% deposit. With this deposit, we agree to reserve a section of our mother canopy for the order. By doing this we can ensure the canopy is in optimal condition to take a large number of uniform, high-quality clones and that we have sufficient time for the clones to be rooted and ready to transplant on the target delivery date. We have a very high success rate and we are able to deliver the highest quality product when we plan our cutting schedule and prepare the canopy well in advance. This is by far the best option for most growers.

in the rare event there is a problem with an order before the delivery date:

Occasionally we are unable to cut or deliver a customer’s order in optimal condition on the target delivery date. If this happens, we will contact you to find a solution as soon as possible. Our policies are the following:

  1. If we are unable to cut an order in time to meet a customer’s planned delivery date because of an issue with the canopy or a change in canopy planning for the target date range, we contact the customer with as much lead time as possible to give them the option to change the order to another cultivar or cancel the order.. This typically only happens on long-term cut orders made months-in-advance, so we will have several weeks or months to find an acceptable alternative.

  2. In nearly all cases, we will deliver fully-rooted trays of clones in optimal condition on the target delivery date. In the rare event that an order is unrooted or partially-rooted, or we consider the order to be in sub-optimal condition for any other reason on the delivery date, we will send the customer pictures and a description of the order and give the customer the option to extend the delivery date, or replace the order with another cultivar that is ready for transplant on the target delivery date. If it’s not possible to find an acceptable solution for the customer, we refund the customer’s deposit and give a credit toward the next order.

Quality Standards and Inspection on Delivery:

We inspect all orders during the rooting period and again before they leave our facility. If we determine there is an issue with quality or viability during this time, we follow the policies above.

On the delivery date, we ask the customer to provide a clean area away from plants and workers where they can inspect the order carefully. At this time, the customer has the option to reject the order for any reason. If the customer rejects an order, the deposit is returned and the order is canceled. If this happens, we will also waive the delivery fee and do everything in our power to find a satisfactory solution for the customer.

It’s our intention to build long-term relationships with our customers by providing a consistent high-quality product. We will do everything in our power to ensure our customer is satisfied with the outcome of their order and

The Sale is Final When the Customer Accepts the Order:

On accepting the order, the customer acknowledges that they have carefully inspected the order and determined that it is of acceptable quality. The sale is final at this time.

We do everything in our power to set our customer’s up for success, however we are unable to control the plants care or environment after we deliver them to the customer’s facility. Plants are a delicate organism and must be properly cared for at early stages. We’re also unable to take returns of plants that have been exposed to potential disease or pest contamination. For these reasons, we do not offer returns or refund orders after they are delivered and accepted by the customer.
