Oklahoma Coma
Breeder: Prime Cuts
Oklahoma Coma is an absolute unit of a plant — a very large, very large producer with big fat buds, great node spacing, and strong branches everywhere. It smells like earthy turpentine and sweet kerosene. The wide node spacing is a critical commercial advantage, providing natural airflow channels even under heavy flower load — a rare trait for a heavy-yielding indica.
Lineage & Genetics
Cross: Proprietary / Undisclosed
Proprietary Prime Cuts Nursery genetics with undisclosed lineage. The turpentine/kerosene aroma profile and indica dominance suggest heritage from fuel-forward genetic lines. The combination of wide node spacing with dense bud production is an unusual trait that sets it apart from typical indicas.
Terpene Profile
Caryophyllene — The primary gas driver — sharp, peppery, diesel-fuel bite responsible for kerosene nose; 1.2–1.8%
Myrcene — Wet soil, musk, dank forest floor — the earth foundation enhancing sedation; 0.8–1.3%
Pinene — The turpentine solvent note — pine resin, paint thinner sharpness; 0.4–0.8%
Humulene — Woody, hoppy undertone reinforcing earthy base; 0.2–0.5%
Aroma: Opening a jar hits like cracking a can of turpentine in a pine forest after rain. Petroleum-chemical kerosene and diesel, damp earthy basement, and sweet fuel finish. The 'Coma' in the name is earned.
Flavor: Thick, expansive smoke with earthy hash and peppery diesel attack. The exhale carries the sweet fuel note more prominently. Petroleum-and-pine coating on the palate.
Effects & Experience
Onset: Heavy and immediate. Physical weight settles within minutes.
Deep body sedation, muscle relaxation, mental quieting. The myrcene/caryophyllene ratio extends duration beyond typical indica timelines. Not a functional daytime strain.
Duration: 2–4 hours primary effects

Growing Characteristics
Grow Tips: This is not a '4 plants in a 4×4' strain — two plants with aggressive SCROG is more realistic. Heavy feeder: EC 2.0–2.4 peak flower with tip burn as your upper limit signal. Push potassium hard for cannabinoid/terpene synthesis at 30%+ THC. Maintain supplemental sulfur to support the volatile sulfur compounds creating the fuel/gas character. Top at node 5–6, SCROG net at 18–20 inches. The great node spacing is built-in mold insurance, but dense colas still need RH management in late flower. Supercropping works exceptionally well with the thick stems. Never underestimate the size — flip at 40–50% of available vertical space. Trellis is non-negotiable despite 'strong branches.' Slow dry 12–14 days is critical for fuel terpenes. The 'sweet' modifier in the fuel profile emerges after week 4 of cure.
History & Origin
Prime Cuts Nursery in-house bred indica from Sonoma County, California. Proprietary undisclosed lineage. Represents the kind of cultivar that justifies in-house genetics programs — combining elite potency with commercial-scale yield and a terpene profile that hits the current market demand for fuel-forward genetics.
