Jungle Boys independently produced their own version using The Original Z and their in-house Wedding Cake cut. Both versions emerged in the late 2010s as part of the broader dessert-strain wave. The strain gained popularity in dispensaries under the abbreviated name 'Z Cake' after candy trademark concerns prompted informal renaming.
