History & Origin

Bred by Seed Junky Genetics founder JBeezy, who crossed his personal Face Off OG clone with pollen from a male Animal Mints plant. The goal was to fuse Face Off OG's piney-fuel aroma and knockout potency with Animal Mints' cookie terpene complexity and resin output. Animal Face was never released as feminized seed by Seed Junky — it circulates as clone-only, with select licensed cultivators (Fig Farms, Rythm/GTI, Carmel, etc.) growing it commercially. Fig Farms hunted their winning phenotype from seed and took 1st Place Indoor Flower at the 2022 Emerald Cup, cementing Animal Face as one of the defining cultivars of the early 2020s gas renaissance.
