Around 2016-2017, JBeezy crossed Triangle Kush x Animal Mints producing Triangle Mints; phenotype #23 became Wedding Cake. By 2018-2020 its reputation solidified as offspring dominated dispensary shelves and competition circuits. In 2021, Kush Mints (Animal Mints x Bubba Kush) was named Strain of the Year. Animal Face (Face Off OG x Animal Mints) won 1st Place Emerald Cup 2022 and 1st Place High Times Cannabis Cup SoCal 2023.
