Miracle 15

Also known as: Miracle, M15

Breeder: Capulator

Miracle 15 is a legendary male breeding plant created by Capulator from a cross of Starfighter (Alien Genetics) and a Colombian landrace sativa he personally acquired in South America. The name comes from its miraculous survival story: Capulator forgot the seeds in his pants pocket and they went through the washing machine. His wife rescued the soapy seeds and placed them in wet paper towels, where they all germinated. However, at roughly two weeks old and two inches tall, every seedling died — except number 15. Because Miracle 15 was a male, it could never be flowered or consumed directly. Its sole purpose was as a breeding male, and it became one of the most consequential pollen donors in modern cannabis genetics when Capulator crossed it with Alien Cookies F2 #7 to create Miracle Alien Cookies (MAC).

Lineage & Genetics

Cross: Starfighter x Colombian Landrace

Parent strains in encyclopedia:Tahoe OGAlien Dawg

Starfighter: Indica-dominant hybrid bred by Alien Genetics (Lemon Alien Dawg x Tahoe Alien). Known for extreme resin production, dense trichome coverage, and sweet lemon aromatics with earthy depth. The original genetics have been discontinued but were legendary for frost and potency. Colombian Landrace: A pure sativa landrace sourced personally by Capulator during travels in South America. Colombian landraces are known for uplifting cerebral effects, long flowering times, tall open structures, and genetic vigor — they contributed hybrid vigor and sativa influence to the Miracle 15 offspring.

Lineage Dispute

No dispute on Miracle 15's own parentage. Minor ambiguity exists around whether MAC 1 (Cap's Cut) is a direct Alien Cookies F2 x Miracle 15 cross or a backcross of the original MAC — Capulator has not publicly clarified, but the prevailing account is Alien Cookies F2 #7 x Miracle 15.

Grow Tips: Miracle 15 was exclusively a male breeding plant used for pollen production. Capulator worked with it in his breeder lineup for approximately one year before creating the MAC cross. He ran several outcrosses with the Miracle male before pairing it with Alien Cookies F2 #7. The male reportedly contributed improved growth rates and yields to its offspring compared to the Alien Cookies mother alone. Cap later recovered additional Miracle seeds and female phenos through trades with @jaws_genetics and @ruiz619er, enabling Miracle F2 breeding work.

History & Origin

Capulator made the original Starfighter x Colombian cross around 2010. Roughly four years later (circa 2014), he decided to pop the seeds but had forgotten them in his pants pocket — they went through a full wash cycle. His wife discovered the soapy seeds and placed them in wet paper towels, where they all germinated successfully. After planting, at approximately two weeks old and two inches tall, every seedling died simultaneously except number 15 — hence 'Miracle 15.' The surviving plant turned out to be male, so it could never be flowered. Capulator incorporated the Miracle 15 male into his breeding program and ran several outcrosses over the following year. When he acquired Alien Cookies F2 #7 (bred by JAWS Genetics, selected by Cap — described as some of the best weed he had ever smoked), he pollinated it with Miracle 15. From roughly 10 seeds, he found MAC 1 (Cap's Cut), which became one of the most iconic and widely distributed clone-only cultivars in modern cannabis. Capulator officially launched MAC around 2016. After believing the Miracle line was lost, @jaws_genetics returned seeds Cap had traded him years earlier, and @ruiz619er appeared with two female Miracle phenotypes from a forgotten five-year-old trade — allowing Cap to recover the line and explore Miracle F2 breeding. Capulator famously restricted MAC 1 clone distribution to growers who had 'put in the time and had a passion for the plant.'
