From just two females of Black Cherry Punch and one 'super-stinky stud with great structure' Trop Cookies male, he produced the seeds he named Blockberry. No lab equipment, no commercial staff, no hunting through 1,000 seedlings — just a home grower's intuition and a goal to make 'a fruit salad.' Michigan cultivator Mobilejay received seeds, germinated them all, and phenohunted over 200 plants. When he found the standout — gassier and creamier than the original Blockberry — he jokingly renamed it Super Boof (because 'boof' was period slang for low-quality weed) and began distributing clones across Michigan, Massachusetts, and Oregon in 2021-2022. Recipients mothered their cuts and made more clones, spreading Super Boof organically through the craft growing community.
