Sour Bubble: B.O.G.'s signature indica creation descended from his BOGBubble (Bubblegum) line, selected for extreme indica structure, dark crinkled leaves, heavy resin output, and a sweet bubblegum nose. Nearly pure indica with compact, rock-hard bud formation.

Aroma: Immediately pungent — cracks a room open with sharp sour-diesel funk and gasoline fumes, followed by a sweet bubblegum-and-tropical-fruit undercurrent from the Sour Bubble side. Flavor: Inhale delivers sour, earthy diesel fuel with a sharp citrus tang. Exhale transitions to a sweet fruity bubblegum aftertaste with hints of pepper and spice from caryophyllene. Smooth overall despite the fuel dominance. Some users detect woody and tobacco notes. A slow cure intensifies the diesel and bubblegum interplay significantly.

SOG is the recommended method by B.O.G. himself: veg clones ~1 week then flip to produce one large central cola per plant. SCROG also effective — top at 5th or 6th node, top again 10–14 days later for 8–12 mains. Prune lower popcorn sites aggressively; the strain wastes energy on small lower buds if not lollipopped. Some clones carry a recessive variegation trait (two-tone leaves). Manageable with foliar Mg/Ca supplementation and selecting less-affected cuts. The original Sour Dubb clone was discovered around 2008 from a batch of just four seeds gifted by breeder B.O.G. (Bushy Older Grower) to a friend at an outdoor cannabis festival in Northern California. B.O.G. described the seeds as 'Sour Diesel × Sour Bubble — the best pot you will ever smoke.' Two seeds were planted; the keeper was named 'Sour Dubble' — a play on 'SD' initials (also a nod to San Diego). B.O.G. himself had leaned toward 'Double Sour' but was outvoted. As a clone-only cut, it spread through trusted cultivator networks across California and gained underground legend status. B.O.G. Seeds later released a seed-form recreation using Rez Dog's Sour Diesel IBL crossed with Sour Bubble, which was more indica-dominant and possibly more mold-resistant than the original. Sour Dubb's greatest legacy came when breeders Joesy Whales and Lone Watie used it as a parent in creating Gorilla Glue #4 (Original Glue) — crossing Chem's Sister × Sour Dubb × Chocolate Diesel — which went on to win multiple Cannabis Cup awards and became one of the most significant strains of the 2010s.
